Antique French Walnut Washstand with Mirror.
 
A lovely example of a French Walnut Washstand featuring an enclosed white variegated marble top and surround.
 
This piece retains its original round mirror plate held within a lyle-shaped frame. Please note that the plate gives a rippled mirror image/effect (please see photographs). Flanking each side are turned towel rails.
 
The central full-width drawer is constructed in oak with dovetail joints and has a turned inset drawer pull and a shaped book-matched veneer front.
 
The turned tapering front legs lead down to a lower cut-back shelf.
 
The washstand has been checked over, cleaned and re-waxed and is presented in excellent condition with only minor age-related marks.
