Antique Pyrenees Mountain Cow Bell in Brass
A wonderful detection device used by cattle farmers in the Pyrenees mountains.
The handmade leather strap adorned with copper rivets and a sturdy steel buckle elegantly holds a beautiful brass cast bell with a replacement cloche.
The bell produces a lovely clear bright sound and makes a great talking point.
This characterful bell was sourced in a small mountain village in the Pyrenees in Southwest France.
The leather has been cleaned and softened and the brass has been re-polished.
Number 12 size.
