An Antique French Oak Hunt Table c1870 from the Landes region in Aquitaine. These tables were designed originally for hunting lodges in the 19th Century and make fantastic standalone decorative pieces.

This solid oak hand-carved table sits on a beautifully carved turned pedestal supported by four griffins / dragons resting on the original castors. When closed, the table top is in an oval shape constructed from solid oak planks with a carved outer edge.

The table has its original sliding mechanism to allow it to extend to accommodate up to two extra leaves (not supplied).
