French Antique Walnut Washstand with marble top.
 
This pretty French antique walnut washstand has an inset variegated grey and white marble top sitting below a shaped gallery. The full-width drawer is in oak with a single drawer divider within.
 
To the sides are a pair of turned towel rails and the front bobbin-turned legs lead down to a shaped lower shelf.
 
Overall in excellent condition and the piece has benefitted from a clean, worm treatment and re-waxing.
 
The washstand has a good mellow colouring only achieved through many years of exposure to natural sunlight.
