Painted rush seat chair from South West France.
 
A pretty rush seated chair in the Folk Art tradition with floral motifs painted on the back rest and a very worn painted craquelure surface over the entire chair, a great distressed look.
 
The legs are in the turned bobbin style.
 
The rush seat pad is in very good condition for its age.
