An impressive early French Giltwood Console Table with a simple and beautifully designed out-swept leg movement joining together to provide support at the base.
 
The pierced frieze is decorated with s and c scrolls and further floral decoration. The gilt finish has minor wear commensurate with age.
 
The top is a fine variegated marble surface with a moulded front edge and is finished with a highly polished surface.
 
All in fine condition, this piece would make a great focal point in a variety of settings.
