A very fine and rare polychrome sculpture of Jesus Sacré Coeur in plaster.
 
Made by Veuve de D Saudinos-Ritouret, specialist makers of French religious artefacts, whose presence has been proven in 1880 at 6 place Saint-Sulpice in Paris.
 
The inscription on the plaque underneath the sculpture reads:
