Antique French Oak Refectory Table
 
Of great character, this solid oak French refectory table features a three planked top with cleated ends and an exceptionally wide centreboard. The top shows signs of many years of service.
 
Within the centre of the lower frieze is the original hand-crafted drawer with a central divide and a hand-carved drawer pull.
 
All the frame joints are pegged in the traditional manner with a wonderfully worn H stretcher. The legs have been tipped providing good knee height.
 
Overall in great condition with minor cuts and dents commensurate with age. We have checked over the table in our workshop, where it has been cleaned and re-finished in the traditional manner.
 
The table seats 6-8 people.
